HOPE worldwide SC Saturday Academy Programs are held in five schools across the state, involving more then 350 students weekly. Tutoring is paired with character lessons, sports, computer training and cultural arts for K-5th graders who scored under the 25th percentile on standardized tests or who have been chosen by their schools to participate. Volunteers also serve as personal mentors for the children who participate.
HOPE worldwide SC Family Resource Center
HOPE worldwide SC Family Resource Center provides after school and summer tutoring programs at a computer/homework center for students who live in low-income public housing communities. The FRC is designed to meet the needs of the entire family through welfare-to-work workshops, computer and job skills training, parenting classes, nursing classes, GED training, life skills, and financial literacy all provided by the Family Resource Center.
HOPE worldwide SC Build A Dream & Summer Enrichment Program
HOPE worldwide SC Build A Dream Program allows students the opportunity to get a personal glimpse at various aspects of corporate America. More importantly, this program is setup as an expansion of our character development curriculum allowing students to gain specific insight as to the true value and application of the character education component. The Summer Enrichment program runs six weeks in the summer and focuses on academic skill building, athletics, cultural arts, and fun, through filed trips and enrichment activities.
HOPE worldwide SC Christmas Toy Drive is an annual event sponsored by volunteers that provides thousands of children in South Carolina with Christmas gifts. Last year's toy drives were held at River Oaks Apartments, the Colony Apartments, and Woodstream Apartments in Greenville and Sanders Clyde Elementary School in Charleston.

HOPE worldwide SC Volunteer Day Program recruits, motivates, trains and mobilizes volunteers around the state to deliver critically needed information and services that support ongoing health, education, development and care programs. Volunteer Day strives to inspire ongoing volunteer participation and appreciation of their sacrifice to help meet the physical and emotional needs of disadvantaged children and adults.
HOPE worldwide SC ImmuNet program enables volunteers to go door-to-door in low-income areas distributing health information, and following up on families whose children are behind in their immunizations and other health screenings. This is a statewide public private partnership co-sponsored by HOPE worldwide SC, SCDHEC, and the Sisters of Charity Foundation of South Carolina.
HOPE worldwide South Carolina Early Detection program distributes information to families about Health Disparities including Lead Poisoning Prevention, Cancer, Diabetes, Cardiovascular Disease, Hypertension, Children's Health Insurance, HIV/AIDS and other issues. Screening, focus groups, workshops and other interventions help improve the participant's health status.
HOPE worldwide SC We Care For Seniors is a program designed to link community volunteers with South Carolina's seniors who need resources such as transportation, finanacial literacy, healthcare services, social activites, and volunteer opportunities. This program is sponsored by HOPE worldwide SC, Bank of America, the Lieutenant Governor's Office on Aging, the Captial Senior Center and Central Midlands Council of Governments AAA.
Magic Johnson Community Empowerment Center - Eastover, South Carolina

HOPE worldwide SC is partnering with Richland School District One, the Magic Johnson Foundation and the South Carolina Department of Commerce to provide a comprehensive one-stop resource center where community residents are provided with the educational tools and resources to empower themselves and their families as well as strengthen the communities in which they reside. Above and beyond technology program participants are also provided access to, life skills development.
HOPE worldwide works side by side with the faculty and staff at Harbison West Elementary and Seven Oaks Elementary in Columbia to promote student achievement. The program is a comprehensive model of youth and adult learning and support to improve academic achievement of at-risk students through a community-school partnership. The goal of the program is to help increase student achievement in both the classroom and on standardized test performance. The academic instruction is not only provided by certified teachers, but is also standards-based and connected to the school day. During the year, the program provides 15 hours of after-school services a week and an additional 4 hours of services on Saturdays.
